The First Parish Church of Newbury services several communities in the Merrimack Valley and North Shore areas of Massachusetts. Our home communities include the towns of Newbury, Byfield Parish section of Newbury and Newburyport.
The church also boasts members and regular attendees from the surrounding communities of Haverhill, Salisbury, Rowley, Amesbury, Boxford, Georgetown, and West Newbury.
First Parish Church of Newbury's sanctuary is accessible to those in wheel chair or who otherwise require ramp access to the building. In addition, our minister presents our regular service in both spoken word and sign language for the hearing impaired. Printed service bulletins are provided to help guide visitors through our services.
Our church has both a parking lot and street parking. The parking lot includes handicapped parking spaces with ramp access to the sanctuary. The parking lot is also at level with our outdoor chapel area for when weather permits outdoor services to take place.
Sunday services are normally held from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM followed by an hour of fellowship at coffee hour.
Summer service hours are from 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM and again followed by an hour of fellowship.
Service cancellations due to inclement weather will be announced on both television channels 4 (WBZ) and 7 (WHDH) out of Boston.
