elcome to First Parish Church, United Church of Christ. Our church has a long and rich history, being the 12th church in the Mass Bay Colony we are a church with an environmental vision. As stewards of earth and spirit, we offer organic gardens to the greater community and we extend an extravagant welcome to all God’s creatures, we offer 3 services a week: a more traditional Sunday morning service, a weekly Eco Service around a fire in our Chapel Under the Trees, and a Wednesday night Celtic Contemplative Service that stems from my own Irish and Welsh roots. We believe God speaks to us through the Bible and Nature. Our vision is blossoming into a multi-faceted mission to bring people to God and to meet the spiritual needs of the 21st Century.
We honor our deep congregational roots, while spreading our branches wide to welcome everyone as Jesus did embracing differences including sexual orientation, ethnicity and ability. Our nurturing community of faith encourages individuals to develop their unique spiritual gifts. Together we strive to function as diverse members of one body, seeking the mind of Christ.
Our rotation model Sunday School allows children to learn bible lessons through creative workshops; Our youth group director leads an exciting program for tweens and teens; Our nursery care provider lovingly tends to infants and toddlers. As your minister I seek to lift hearts and open minds with relevant sermons and creative services.

Sunday Service
Sunday's 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Held in the church sanctuary each Sunday, our regular service follows the United Church of Christ's liturgical calendar. Services are interpreted ,by our minister, for the hearing impaired. Following the service there is an hour of fellowship in Holton Hall where all are invited to meet and socialize. We also offer special services such as "Blessing of the Animals" and sunrise Easter service.
Service cancellations due to inclement weather will be announced on both television channels 4 (WBZ) and 7 (WHDH) out of Boston.
